Profile
He was a very talented writer, most of all critic (famopus is his essay on Pascoli) and contributor of 'La Voce' by De Robertis. His masterpiece is 'L'esame di coscienza di un letterato' (1915), in which he criticizes the time given to the inevitable war.
Historic valuation
He is believed to be among the best writers of the beginning of the 20th century.
