Description
The Library is situated in the area of the
former convent of the Franciscans. It has a shape with three naves,
shared by two rows of 10 columns.
It was founded by Malatesta Novello
Lord of Cesena in 1452, and keeps 340 manuscripts of the centuries
9th-15th, in Latin, Greek and Hebrew.
The Malatesta Library is the only example
in the world of Humanistic Library perfectly preserved in the building,
in furnitures and book equipment , as recognized by UNESCO in 2005, by
inserting it into the Memory of the World Register.

By bicycle, car and bus (line 4, line 5).
Guided visits and other services
The entrance includes the service of guide.
You can also buy touristic guides, posters, postcards.
