A Tourist Tax has been introduced in Cesena on February 1 2013. It applies for overnight stays, for a maximum of 3 following nights. The Tax fee is: 3 euro for 4 star hotels; 2 euro for 3 star hotels; 1,50 euro for 2 star hotels. Exemptions: children under 12 years of age; subjects assisting bed-ridden patients admitted to hospitals or clinics on the municipal territory, in the measure of one helper per patient; persons with disabilities, regularly recognized by the provincial medical committees and beneficiaries of an attendance allowance.
